On an interactive, experiential tour in the middle of nature, adorned by the Coffee Cultural Landscape, you will explore coffee crops up close, discovering the effort and dedication of those who harvest each bean, selecting the best to guarantee unbeatable quality.

For 2 hours and 30 minutes you will be able to enjoy the coffee route and coffee traditions, where your senses will discover the spectacular landscape, the unforgettable aroma of the earth, the taste of coffee and the power of the elements of nature.

Station 1

Welcome

We welcome you to our tour with a general overview of the farm and its history. Then, an educational tasting is carried out, the main objective of which is to learn how to differentiate a commercial coffee from a coffee of origin. You will discover, through the nose of Jean Lenoir's coffee, the 36 aromas of a cup of coffee.

Station 2

Basketry and Tradition

Under the guidance of our artisan, you will learn in detail everything related to the extraction of bamboo fibers (guadua) and the weaving of a traditional coffee basket using these fibers.

You will complete your own small basket with the help and explanation of the artisan.

Station 3

Soil and Origin

You will go through a natural earth tunnel, where you will be able to observe the entire composition of the soil and the roots of the coffee. The inspirational speaker will explain the importance of the soil in the entire coffee process. Then you will look for the token that represents SOIL AND ORIGIN.

Station 4

Color and Texture

At this station you will be able to see a spiral with glass of different sizes and colors that reflect different shades when the sunlight passes through them. With the help of a magnifying glass you will be able to discover the soul of the flowers and their splendor in detail, and you will even be able to taste them. The senses of sight, touch, taste and smell will be the protagonists at this station.

Station 5

Spring of Life Water

Water as a vital resource plays a central role in this season. You will learn to value our natural resources by taking care of water sources and the plants that surround them, and how to contribute to their care with a rational use of water. You must find the token that represents the WATER SPRING OF LIFE.

Station 6

Flora and Fauna

To get to this station, you must go through a tunnel of hanging orchids, foliage and flowers, and when you come out you will find the Pacha Mama (Mother Earth) volcano. Lying down on it, closing your eyes and listening to the birds sing will recharge your inner self and you will learn to appreciate the nature that surrounds you. At this station you will find the token that represents FLORA AND FAUNA.

Station 7

Sun and Shadow

Do you know the benefits of shade for coffee? Here the inspiration will explain why at Hacienda Combia we have large trees in the middle of the coffee plantations and you will also be able to see a nest made of bamboo fibers on a human scale and feel what a bird feels being inside it. At this station you will find the token that represents the SUN AND THE SHADE.

Station 8

Beneficiary

You have arrived at a very important station where you can learn about the wet processing of coffee and why this technique is used at Hacienda Combia.

Station 9

Ceramics

At this station you will be an artist sculpting your own cup of coffee. With the help of a palette of colored vinyl, let your imagination fly and capture through painting the most significant things of your experience so far.

Station 10

Coffee flavor

Finish with a delicious Inspiración coffee, prepared by the inspirer using a non-traditional method, and enjoy the company and the view of the coffee cultural landscape. At the end, return to the starting point at the welcome station.
